No way! No backups? If it's too much effort I wouldn't bother. It's just a pity to lose another alternative windows shell.

Ya noticed the missing files a few weeks back. Let me see if I can dig those up.

Ok, got the VS2008Pro and after some tweaks (which I can list if anyone wants) I've hit 2 brick walls. 1) bluebox resource.rc isn't in svn (this can be ignored by removing it from the solution) 2) ddeservice.h isn't in svn (I can get it from others like litestep and emerge, but they throw an error when linking). any help?

And now for the reason I attempted all this - bluebox (installed and located in c:\bluebox\bluebox.exe) dies horribly when attempting to run it (unandled exception 512).

Found the problem - express edition doesn't contain the ATL/MFC headers (see http://tr.im/FkCw), and the various SDKs do little to plug the gap. I may see if I can obtain them at some point.

Spoke to soon, looks like I need a version of the Windows SDK for atlbase.h (which I would guess is what the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vc7\atlmfc" is for). Would you happen to know which part of the windows SDK this is? I don't really want to download 4GB...

bluebox itself doesn't fail due to a hardcoded path (a debatable evil in itself, but I'll let it slide)) :)

Yo SowWn, bluebox currently fails to when put in a directory with spaces. You need quotes around the copy arguments in the custom build steps for blueboxhk and bshelldlg.
